Privacy Policy

vCardForge is built privacy-first. The short version: your contact files never leave your device.

Files you process

All parsing, conversion, viewing and QR generation happen locally in your browser using JavaScript. The contents of your VCF and CSV files — names, phone numbers, emails — are not uploaded to, stored on, or visible to our servers at any point. The tools keep working if you go offline after the page loads.

What we do collect

We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (self-hosted) to count page visits and understand which tools are used: pages viewed, browser type, country, and anonymous usage events (e.g. "a file was converted" — never its contents). This data contains no personal identifiers and is not shared with third parties.

Payments

If you buy Pro, the checkout is operated by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the data needed to process your payment (name, email, payment details, billing country) under Paddle's privacy policy. We receive your email and order details to deliver the license, and we don't see your payment card.

Cookies

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Local browser storage may be used to remember your license and preferences on your own device.
